Rocklahood was established in 2002, in 2003 we won a price at the SAB Kick start competition. We released our first artist and album in 2004 called FUNK MOBB.

We have unearthed a lot of talent in the Free State through our Talent search competitions that we had around the Free State, Talent such as Serame Sediti and many more.

From 2004 to 2008 we had a partnership with SAB castle larger as they supported us and used our artists on their events and supported all the event we hosted. That helped in some of our artists performing on a national soccer match between Bafana bafana and Cape Verde

We later saw the need to train and further our knowledge in the industry and sent some of our then staff for training through learnerships and our staff was trained in the following:

Music Business Learnership by MIDI TRUST

                                    Arts Administrations

                                    New Venture creation

                                    Live event technical production

In the later year some of our staff members were called by the Free State Youth Commission to come help the establishment of the Free State Youth Arts Council and one of us was elected as the secretary of the structure.

As artist development is our mission, we later released a compilation album called KASIOLOGY which was a platform to artists who didn’t have the ability to release full album, but their singles were compiled and released in that album.
